back home

Hi all, just a quick note to say I'm home after a quick weekend in Champaign. It was really nice to see my family and Wayne, and so many dear friends at church. The time went really quickly, but it was well worth it. Coming home, it was really easy to catch the metro directly to my apartment. Tomorrow I'm back in the swing of things with my regular classes.

I have 3 weeks of consular training left--so I guess that means I'm half-way through. This week I'm supposed to go in and get my vaccinations for Venezuela. I'll also be trying to apply for my visa and diplomatic passport. That may turn into a waiting game, but I'll find out what I can get done right away.
